WHAT are the SOAR TRAININGS?
SOAR Trainings, sponsored by the NC Interagency Council for Coordinating Homeless Programs, are provided throughout the state. Graduates of the program use methods that have been shown to increase acceptance rates and decrease waiting time for SSI/SSDI applications approval. A speedy acceptance process leads to quicker access to support that can allow a person to maintain or obtain housing.
